...seems to be a groovy place.
Cannon sportin' his Crayola Chalk 3D glasses, riding his airplane in his pjs, on speakerphone with Grandma Jan and Grandpa Richard and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Busy Guy.

Teddy Bear Picnic
A few weeks ago, Carter's class hosted a picnic for their Teddy bears. Earlier that day, that went on a bear hunt to find Mrs. Hill's lost Teddy bear. They searched all over the school with thief toilet paper roll binoculars and finally spotted the beat in a tree.
They worked up an appetite.

-little brother got to come too.

One of Carter's best friends. They plan to get married...most days. They said they will live close and will visit every day so I won't be sad.

Carter enjoyed feeding his bear and his baby brother

Baby's adventure
Carter and I took a trip to the big city so I could get a new computer. In exchange for his patience and good behavior, I agreed to take him to his playground and restaurant of choice...he and the baby, baby Elmo that is.
Cannon had his Dad all to himself and I guess Carter felt like he needed a baby around.
So baby Elmo came with us.

Baby Elmo got to do everything babies do. Ride in the carseat, play on the playground...

Eat lunch.

And wait on the to go counter for his milkshake.
I guess, most babies don't do that. For the restaurant, it must have been a first for them too, judging from the crowd of employees who came to the window to look at their unusual customer - one even took a picture with his iPhone.

Letters from pre-k
Carter loves getting mail. Packages create the most excitement, but letters are great too. Especially when they come from the highly regarded, soon-to-be pre-k teacher, Mrs. Hill

Carter Decided to write a letter back.

He worked hard. I wouldn't let him use any of his new crayons for school, so he made do with some of Cannon's "baby crayons" and old, broken ones.

He drew a schoolhouse and selected his favorite Bob the Builder sticker for the front.

Then he narrated while I wrote on the inside.
He gave it to her at the meet the teacher night.

She loved it, of course, and said she could tell he had a very kind heart.
She's right!
