Lost track of time!

Has it been that long?
Here are a few photos from our trip to Ruidoso this summer.

Random cuteness

Cardboard is fun! Another benefit of amazon prime! Big awkward boxes!

Magically transformed into robots and tanks. The tank still sits in our living room months later. I don't even notice it anymore.

The Morris boys and Carter's best friend playing their iPads.

Knox does this every time he gets out if the tub. Don't try to move anything...it makes him angry.

Murphy, you rock.

Knox's selfies

Here is a small "snapshot" of the hundreds of pictures Knox took of himself on my phone.

Thank goodness!

Catching up from the past few months....

I had told the boys that one of the perks of moving out to west Texas is that we would probably see more snow.

Thank you, west Texas for delivering!

Carter is 8!

We celebrated Carter's eighth birthday yesterday! Carter, your kind and generous heart makes us so proud. You don't take your friends or family for granted. We know leaving what was so familiar and comfortable behind has been difficult. Although you have been sad at times, you have adjusted so well and embraced your new school, town, and friends with open arms and a positive attitude. You are a friend to everyone, even the polar bears ;). You dream big and your intelligence always keeps us on our toes. We are so proud of you!

Bouncing with excitement...

Ski!

We decided to take the boys to Red River for their first skiing adventure. First we stopped at Summer's house to drop off Knox with the grandparents. The boys loved having a sleepover with aunt Summer!

Knox had a great time being spoiled and loved on, and we had so much fun spending time with the big boys.

We signed them up for ski school for one and half days and then take a one hour private lesson each. We were amazed at how well they did, how fast they caught on and grateful for how much fun they had!

In addition to skiing, we hit the sledding hill...one that made me very nervous! But the kids had fun and luckily no one got hurt.

Ryan and I enjoyed skiing the slopes alone for a bit too. Luckily, neither of got hurt considering it has been over 10 years since either of us had been skiing!
