A sweet trip to the toy store

Yesterday we made a trip to the toy store in the big city.  I must say, I was impressed that the boys behaved so nicely.  No "galloping greedy gimmies" like the Bearinsteen Bears book would say. 

Even better was capturing a few moments of sweetness between big and little brother.  

We rarely let them have caffeine

Carter lost his first tooth! He rushed out of school Tuesday afternoon to share the news.

Apparently, the apple at lunch did the trick.


5 golden dollars were left in exchange for the tooth. His second bottom tooth is soon to follow. No toothless, gummy smiles though, the permanent teeth are about 2/3 of the way in!

Cannon has it down...

I realized after watching the video that Cannon was actually speaking for the "sun."

Dove Hunting...

Carter was so excited to go Dove Hunting with his Dad.


He got himself dressed, all the way down to the camo belt.
