Big Brother, Big Swing

Yippee! Sara and Jade Visit!

Its been almost four months since we've seen our good friends Sara and Jade - and we've missed them so much since we moved. We were honored to be a part of Jade's first big road trip away from home. Of course, she handled it like a world-class traveler!

When they arrived, we had to get right to business...
playing outside with the Plasma Car and the Fire Truck.

Our front porch also doubles as a two (sometimes one) lane highway.

They loved chasing eachother up and down the porch.

Next, on to the bubbles. The bubble fan was once again a big hit.
Everyone needs at least one bubble fan on hand at all times.

I'm told these are "morning time bubbles"

Ok, enough of the bubbles. Now its time to check out Carter's new swing.

No shortage of excitement - Murphy's "cuz" went into the pond....so did Murphy.

We also saw a red fox. Jade enjoyed sneaking up on him.

He also has just found out he has a new patient....

Aside from the fact he isn't wearing any pants.

He has some work to do on his bedside manner.

"Nor am I enjoying this silly new haircut. Next time you take me to the groomer, please tell them that I AM NOT A GIANT RED SCHNAUZER!!!" (yes, our dog says "nor")

Towing

Carter loves cruisn' up and down the front porch on his Plasma Car.

He can go really fast - which can be dangerous when you are driving with one hand and holding your bucket of sidewalk chalk with the other.

And back to the other side of the porch to build up more speed....

Even faster...Now he has crashed (one of his favorite activities) the Plasma car off the porch into the grass. Its time for his other favorite activity, rigging up a tow rope
(which looks a lot like a dog leash to me)

In comes the dump truck to assist...

We must run around the yard pulling the dump truck with the leash.
