The talk of the town

It's the new watermark in Pampa and it's been the talk of the town and the Morris family (particularly Carter) for quite some time.

Carter's favorite summer activity...so far

Notice the picture was not of him getting his tonsils removed...but he is holding an ice cream cone.

Batman must rest too...

Carter is sleeping soundly and apnea-free since his tonsils and adenoids were removed last Friday. He's so quiet when he sleeps now!

Air Show

Here are a few pictures from the Air Show...they are a few months old, but I'm a few months behind.

They were warming up the planes.  Carter was determined to wait for them to take off...

Cannon loves "hair-planes."   The blinding sun and watery eyes were well worth it to spot the hairplanes.

Another highlight.  Carter, often hesitant at first to try something new, had no qualms about trying out this adventure.

Carter sat below this airplane for a while.  I think he was memorizing every part.

Carter did not want to get in this.  Cannon, however, loved it.  Guns, buttons, levers, fun.

Sandbox till sunset

Normally the boys are in the bath by now. But it's not a school night...

The weather is beautiful...

And the boys are so focused they aren't even aware I'm taking pictures of them.

Enchanted Rock

We had big plans to hike Enchanted Rock the other day, but we didn't quite make it out there.

Not to disappoint, we headed to the park for some rock climbing.

It sure is handy to have so much granite in the area...unless you are trying to dig in the ground.

First baseball game

Coach pitch, Base hit!!

Carter needs a second base coach. Running from second to third is a little confusing.

But he made to third!
And eventually home.

Not surf who won, but they had fun!
