Donut shop

Cannon and Carter love donuts. It's not something we eat every morning, of course. But every once and a while, after Ryan gets off an ER shift, he will bring them for us.

Carter called them doonuts up until 5-6 months ago. It was so cute. Unfortunately, Cannon pronounces donuts correctly. We had hoped they would both call them doonuts. Forever.

Upon hearing of this mornings upcoming donut delivery, Cannon set up a donut stand.

The real doonuts have arrived!!

Cannon's 2nd Birthday Party

Cannon totally "got" the concept of his birthday party. He had been singing Happy Birthday to himself all week and talking about "CAKE!," parties, and "FIRE."

Cannon is a fan of Cookie Monster, so it was all about cookie monster.

Cannon sleeps with Cookie Monster and I often hear him talking in a growley cookie monster voice when he is laying in his crib. Cannon is definitely our night owl. Sometimes he lays in bed for an hour after we put him down - singing, talking, reading. Meanwhile, Carter falls asleep within 3 minutes of his head hitting the pillow.

Carter loves parties. Carter and Johnny could talk shop all day.

mmmmm........blue icing.

Lots of love for Aunt Nella

They don't look alike at all, do they?

Cannon loves his Kiki!

Sweet Cannon. Happy Birthday!

I hesitated taking Cannon to the tire store with me. I thought waiting for 4 new tires to be put on might get a little boring.

Little did I know the tire store is a little boys playground.

Happy Birthday Cannon!
lover of "lee-pops", airplanes, motorcycles, cake, and all things snuggly.

Life in 3D...

...seems to be a groovy place.

Cannon sportin' his Crayola Chalk 3D glasses, riding his airplane in his pjs, on speakerphone with Grandma Jan and Grandpa Richard and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Busy Guy.
